About Me
This is a page about walking. It is a page about finding spirituality in the world we move through. For over a quarter century I have been a small church pastor for congregations in two small, progressive denominations. Now--as the organized church recedes and re-invents itself--I am looking for places outside of organized religion where we touch the sacred. I find the sacred in art and in nature. For much of my life these experiences have been part of my practice as a religious professional but so have so many other things. Now I would like to take the time to focus on them with greater intention, exploring and growing with family and friends.
I am trying to keep the journey and the web page simple. Above you will see two pages. The new Walks Blog encompasses the current interest and will include posts on this exploration while keeping church stuff (that is "work stuff") to a minimum. Older and Other archives my previous Burbania Posts Blog and will be updated very occasionally with material that doesn't fit the theme of Walks Blog. Feel free to explore!
