I don't usually post church stuff here, but this service is about my sabbatical project and includes some background to why. The sermon starts at 40:44. I tried to peg this there but failed. There is some good stuff before that, however, so feel free to skip around!

I am a student lay person of your mom's. We are a very small group who are very dedicated to church to guide and strengthen each other on Sundays so that we can function by the Gospel during the week. I do not know how people do not put church community first in their lives. It is essential to mine and my brothers and sisters of our church. It affects all aspects of my life and theirs as well. I am sure they would say the same.It is as much needed as it is for me to eat and drink every day. Your mom is not with us every week now but we continue to keep meeting every Sunday while she comes Communion Sunday's only and we eat Sunday lunch together. It is an amazing act on her part we feel to travel to be with such a small group as ours but we are ever so grateful for her knowledge and spirtual guidance. The things that are important to you like hiking, gardening and music are as important to her. I couldn't sleep part of this night and ended up listening to what you had to say. Thanks!
